Composite Repairs
The use of composite materials in the design of modern aircraft, has seen an increase in the need for expert maintenance procedures, and a wealth of composite structure experience is available at ACT's Fort Worth facility, with specialisation in Advanced Composite and Bonded Structure repair.
The facility interfaces with OEM's and already holds PMA approvals and an STC. Skilled technicians are focussed on the need to meet demands for rapid turnaround times, and an "on-wing" service is provided for AOG requirements. Complex individual repair schemes can be computer generated for approval by aircraft manufacturers, resulting in repairs to components that would normally require replacement.
